A GREAT Experience - I'll See Gravy Again
First off, I'm an older person ... 42. I knew going into this show, I would be out of the main demographic of those in attendance. However, it was an absolute blast! The DJ warmed up the crowd, and everyone was into it. The venue was spacious but also intimate. Gravy performed his hits, the classics, and sampled some new stuff. There was a bit more talking than I am used to at a concert, but this was also my first rap concert. All in all, this was a fantastic show with high energy. I had to work the next morning, teaching high school English, and I had a 2.5 hour drive home. It was worth it to skip out on sleep and drive from Evansville to Indy and back after a full day's work. If he's in your area, go see him.
Opinion of a mom
Took my daughter to Yung Gravy at the Fillmore in Charlotte this past weekend. The show was incredible! So much energy!! And I can not say enough wonderful things about the venue and the staff. I have multiple sclerosis and was able to use the ADA section to enjoy the show. From there we were able to see everything that was going on. The staff was continually surveying the crowd for any potential issues. Someone did pass out during the show. Yung Gravy stopped the show and the medics were able to handle it. They kept handing out waters to the folks in front of the stage. They kept everyone safe and were always readily available to help the guests. It was a wonderful time and I look forward to going to more shows at the Fillmore!
